Re: AAU The next level
I noticed he's the team's second leading scorer and has started every game. Good for him, I think a PSAC school will come calling next year and I think that was his goal.

Not this local fan. He went through a rough stretch (who among us wishes they didn't do some things differently in their youth) and it's great to see that he is playing at the next level and is having some success. I'm happy for the young man and hope it all works out the best for him on and especailly off the court. I don't care where he went to high school I want to see a local kid make good.

Re: AAU The next level
NT needs to either get a body and put on 20-25 pounds of muscle (to play 4), or get some facing up/guard skills (to play 3). PSACs get players much much better than NT who transfer down to PSACs from small to mid-majors D1s after they realize they're in over their heads, get recruited over, and/or sit the bench for a year or two, fail out of school, or commit a crime. They get full rides from D2s and get to play right away instead of having to sit a year.
NT is a classic 'tweener...good athleticism, but his offensive skills facing the basket are really lacking for the D2 level. If he improves in either bulk or face up skills, he can play at D2 level.
I would say the fact that he was a tweener is why no PSACs (not even hometown UPJ) wanted him out of HS.
He would be a really really good D3 swing man and would be very tough to deal with because athleticism like his is not as common at a D3. Athletes like NT are a dime a dozen at PSACs.
