Re: WPIAL Boys AA Rankings Jan 7
I noticed Lincoln Park fared well against some out of state teams recently. Losing 3 d1 kids from last year's team has to hurt somewhat, I'm sure they are loaded but probably not quite as loaded.
Can Aliquippa beat them? I know the Quips got a transfer from Ambridge during football season. I was led to believe he was Ambridge's best athlete too, so that's a nice addition for the Quips.

Re: WPIAL Boys AA Rankings Jan 7
Lincoln Park is still a very good team plus they are making the jump to "AA" this year. Some rankings have Aliquippa listed ahead of Lincoln Park, but I find it hard to drop a team while playing out of state teams that I have no clue about.
That would be a really interesting game to see and I'm surprised they don't play a non-conference game against each other. Stephon McGinnis was the kid who transferred and he hasn't been really scoring as much as I expected but he's such a skilled ball handler, which is very much needed. Aliquippa has a lot of other football players that are scoring for them (Kaezon Pugh, Charles Humphries, Jassir Jordan). Ambridge is still a team to watch in AAA even though McGinnis left them. Lincoln Park and Aliquippa host huge section games this week against second-place teams in their sections (Neshannock and Quaker Valley, respectively)
