I really like Bellwoods chances this year in D6 A. I think they are the team to beat at this point. Bellwood will be the top seed in the playoff field and hopefully will be able to get it done. Portage and Penns Manor should be decent.

However the challenger in class A to me has to be the Marauders again. BG is losing a lot but I believe they will reload. They will be right there also IMO.

I think that tradition might be getting the nod in Sidman. 4 of 5 lineman graduate on offense, 3 year starter at qb gone, 1000 yd rusher gone, 3 of 4 dbs gone
early word is 9th grade qb is real deal but lack of play makers and lineman could be dilema

agree BG is team to beat in LHAC

Well maybe that section BG is the top dog, but Bedford and Somerset are probably the two best teams in the LHAC next season overall. The Somerset QB/RB combo returning, and Bedford is basically bringing back 21/22 starters. Don't think anyone from Section I matches up with that.

BG's jv was legit last year , might be another run like Carroll had in the early 2000's
did not know that bedford was that loaded this year

would expect Hickory to be waiting for the D6 AA winner

I saw them beat Bellwood jvs last year handily. Had a couple really good athletes. The varsity team also got their crack at BG and everyone remembers that wasn't pretty.

That's exactly why I called 7-3. Them, Bedford, and Somerset will dominate. Regardless of how well the Rangers reload.

Agree totally with MAC preview. Except Vroman left 2 years ago, that's a large part of their problem.
There you go Eagle, see how much Philipsburg is on the radar! I thought he was still there.

Jeff Vroman is the OC at Bellefonte now (started this past season). He works with the running backs and linebackers at the position level as well.

Manning has them moving in the right direction, but they lose a lot more athletes to soccer and XC than they ever have. They won't win the Mountain League anytime soon, but a 4 or 5 win season isn't out of the question like it has been for a while now.
