Didn't mean to get off the subect a little, but I was told terrele jones is getting d-1 looks too. Mise well add him to list because he is a good player that was hurt last year. Penna is doing something right producing d-1 talent. He must have some good ties.

He doesn't have a thing to do with it. He is reaping the benefits of having a stream of above average talent from an urban district. Put him in, say, Blacklick, or Shade, and it wouldn't be any different. His success would be dictated by his players' abilities. I also might add, because it's not a shot at Penna, but any other local Coach is only as successful as the level of athletes making up their given teams. Sometimes they are fortunate to have several good or great ones at the same time, sometimes not so much. The DON has had down years as well.
It ain't over until it's over.

Jones started going to prospect camps before his freshman season, he had his name out there for some time. A lot of recruiting these days is marketing yourself. They knew about him because of how own doing, not Johnstown.

Jones is a really good athlete. I remember seeing him play basketball in 8th and 9th grade... the kid could just jump out of the gym.

Funny you mention that, I noticed him on a freshman basketball game also. He stuck out because he was built like he was 18 not 14. Unfortunate injury for him last year, hope he rebounds.

Bishop guilfoyle returns some good talent from their championship team. Aaron yasulitis and Sam keating are both returning starters on the offensive and defensive sides. Also the younger chadbourn is a rising Junior and should have a good year as well.

Bill do you plan on updating the list? I was just looking down it and don't see any additions since the initial? Think there are some good ones out there, and in this thread that are not on the list
