Officiating for CBB finals
A lot of controversy on the calls. I do think its a bit funny duke has about 30 more free throw attempts in both final games combined than Wisconsin (who was in second).
2 big calls were missed but idk how to feel.

Sometimes the calls go your way and sometimes they don't. Wisky sure wasn't complaining Saturday night when a couple close ones went their way.
So many factors can go into how many FT a team shoots that it isn't a good barometer of how the game was officiated.
Wisky had Duke right where they wanted them and couldn't close them out.... that's the only story that matters.

The refs didn't blow that 9 point lead
Re: Officiating for CBB finals
Refs did blow two out of bounds plays - one where the Duke player stepped on the line, and other where the ball touched Duke players' fingertip going out of bounds. Two possessions was the difference in that game. NBA would have gotten that right as all calls are reviewed at the replay center in NYC as well.

I think only one of those plays was actually reviewable though under NCAA rules, they definitely botched the fingertip call though.

Yeah the fingertip play was missed on replay (not sure how that happens?) but the play where Winslow stepped out of bounds is not reviewable. Wisky benefited from a similar non-call in the Big10 Champ game. They benefited from a few calls in the KU game. It is what it is...

The refs weren't given the one angle that we all saw.

The stupidity that still exist in 2015 just blows my mind. Why would they not make all angles available.......
