Scores
Re: Scores
More thoughts on the McCort/Westmont games, I thought the New Head Coach was a defensive minded coach, didn't he coach at the next level on the defensive side of the ball. Maybe that's the problem, he still thinks he coaching in "Arena football." I understand that 300lb player will push around a 200lb player on the line, but on Westmont drive when they scored the tieing Field Goal, on a 3rd and 20 Westmont Tightend had one on one coverage with a small CB no help over the top with S. That was bad read or bad call, again if McCort wants to move up from the bottom tier of the LHAC. McCort can't make plays like this or wait until half time to adjustment on the defense side of the ball. What comes down to Westmont wanted to Win the game more than the McCort and its up to the coaching staff to have their team ready to play. Richland will be able to run and pass the ball over McCort defense and this game will be a shoot out between the offenses which Richland will have the edge.

Agreed. Part of that is only 4 seniors really make an impact. The younger guys are just learning on the fly. Might take their lumps this year, but they might be better for it in the future.
Re: Scores
I don't see McCort Richland being close , Brandon will have the Rams clicking and then Crimson can tell us about the excuse I mean problem being they are not fast enough, since we used they aren't big enough this week

Re: Scores
Westmont ran 78 plays, held the ball for 36 minutes, and averaged 4 yards a play. Facts, not really an excuse.
I went to McCort, I want to see them do well, and I was asked to help in the press box this season. I just give my observations each week. If I wasn't helping out during McCort games, I would probably attend more exciting and better games and report from those games. I guess it comes across like I'm biased and going to bat for McCort, but I'm really not - I promise you.

You can't use that McCort is young and learning on the fly excuse anymore, most of these players played last year. The McCort football team just makes too many mistakes in these types of games. They just don't how to win, look at Bedford, they were able to win when they were a young team. I know they had better coaches compare to what McCort had over the last 2 years. Its about time some of these younger players step up until they do this, McCort will be at the bottom of the LHAC.

Re: Scores
McCort reminds me of Penns manor right before the program turned itself into what it is today. We had a lot of players who played and started multiple seasons but the first season, 2007, was about coming together as a team. We learned to trust another and lost games we should win but also won games maybe we shouldn't of. In the end we became the first PM team to host a district 6 playoff game, let alone first appearance.
The next year we didn't improve our record really but we didn't take a step back. We proved our playoff birth wasn't a fluke and built up the confidence that we belong. 2009 the team went 10-2 and became a program that took off.
Since then Penns manor has always been mentioned as a team that'll always be there in d6a playoffs. But I believe if the program as a whole didn't struggle in 2006, 2007, 2008 they'd not be successful today
