BMCHS question
Anthony Walters vs Billy Lewis: Honest comparison please. Both great from an opponents' standpoint.
It ain't over until it's over.

Re: BMCHS question
I think you mean Scott Lewis. Scott was an awesome HS football player, one of the best middle linebackers I've seen in this area since I've been paying attention to football. He hit hard and was always around the ball. He went on and was a four year starter at Saint Francis and racked up accolades there. He's SFU's all-time leading tackler I believe and is in the top 5 in FCS history. Pretty great career. He's the defensive coordinator for East New Mexico, a DII school.
Right now, Anthony Walters is a very good player for a sophomore. He's not very tall, but he's well built he hits hard and is always around the ball, just like Lewis. I wouldn't say he's on Scott's level right now, but when he's a senior it would be a fun comparison. But for a sophomore middle linebacker/fullback, he's pretty good.

Re: BMCHS question
Having not seen Walters, even being compared to Scott is an honor. I had the pleasure of playing with Scott and a bigger ball hawk I have never seen. He had a great head for the game shed blockers exceptionally well and always fit his gap. He also loved to lower the boom, big time hitter.
Re: BMCHS question
It is not a comparison and this point... Scott Lewis was a pain in the azz to deal with for 4 seasons... and I mean that is a good way. He was a PLAYER!
After watching Walters... he is also going to be a pain to deal with for the next 3 seasons. He had 200+ versus CC without his 95yd TD run. He is a fantastic wrestler (Placed 8th in the State as a Freshman) which also means that he is a tough azz kid... Lets revisit this in 3 seasons. So far Mr. Walter... you are well on your way!

Re: BMCHS question
Heard he once ate a bowl of nails for breakfast without any milk
Re: BMCHS question
Scott Lewis once drank 5 gallons of milk in a single sitting. Then he went drinking.
On a football note, I've got to think he's the youngest college defensive coordinator in the country. His team faces the number 11 team in the country on Saturday and you can watch it live here: http://portal.stretchinternet.com/msu/

Re: BMCHS question
I saw this post the other week and i thought upon it after watching the PC game. My personal opinion is that you cant take a player who has one break out performance such as the CC game and compare it a spectacular player such as Lewis. Walters has impressed as a freshmen but as a sophomore i feel that there where games where he was almost irrelevant both offensively and defensively. Through Bedford, Somerset, BG you don't really hear anything about him. Big time players step up in big times, isnt that the saying? Yes he is a good ball player dont get me wrong, I wouldnt say you could put him that high prestige yet.
