Im saying"surprise" because of the lack of respect that they have received for whatever reason. I knew that they would have a good team this year, but I am surprised at how good they are. I really believe that the Panthers are a much better team this year than they were last.

in the last few years of pitt hoops. I dont think they ever got the respect they deserved because of the softer schedule they play. Pitt is a great team and almost beat uconn, but they still arent getting the publicity that will make them a name around the country since they play teams like duquene and all those other schools that i cant remember the names of.

pitt should be happy they dont get respect. i am a huge uconn fan. the huskies get the best effort from every team they play because of repsect. everybody wants to beat uconn because everybody knows that uconn is one of the best teams in the country. they lost to providence b/c of this. it says something when ppl go round saying "o well, pitt ALMOST beat uconn." horse shoes and hand grenades my friends. im lookin forward to that day in late february when uconn ends gives pitt their first loss at the pete.

Actually the respect level for Pitt has been rising as of late. The same week that Pitt lost to UConn, the Panthers passed the Huskies in the rankings. After all of today's upsets look for Pitt to rise to #4 in the country this week.

i think that pittsburgh is not getting the props they deserve right now they are ranked 4th in the nation but i feel that they should be ranked like number 2 not number 4 cuz they beata lot of good teams and only lost to uconn

I dont think pitt deserves any higher ranking then what they are at now. Granted they only have one loss, but they have only played a handful of really good teams. 4 is a nice place to be at.
