BGCHS @ FH Monday eve
Re: BGCHS @ FH Monday eve
Semantics. Gotta love it. When you've participated in a sport for several years, and then the next year you decide not to, you've quit. Plain -n- simple. No one has given her a bad rap as a "quitter". It's always been assumed she was specializing in another sport. Without knowing the girl or family personally, and only knowing what you hear or see over the course of several months from everyone else you come into contact with, you tend to form some opinions. For the most part, they turn out to be true. I'd still like to see her on the hardwood. She would still be at least as good as her replacements. I wish her great success going forward with her choice.Buffbills14 wrote:I cannot speak for the other girl but Olivia Gregorich did not "quit" the Lady Rangers as has been stated here (and before) by ICoach and Manfred. You have to start something before you quit. She told Lady Ranger Coach Cecere two weeks prior to open gym starting that she was not playing this year so she could dedicate her Winter to softball (camps, training...) which she hopes to play at the next level. This also has nothing to do with Coach Cecere (even though this has also been referred to) because she really enjoyed playing not only her freshman and sophomore years but since she was in grade school for her. She is not and has never been a quitter so ICoach and Manfred please get your facts straight before you blog! Go Lady Rangers!
It ain't over until it's over.
