Usually it's me banging my head against the wall arguing with this dolt... I'm glad to see some others join in on the fun. 

Why do GMs/players still all seem to agree that Crosby is the best player in the NHL but Konjo doesn't? I know whos opinion I would value more. Or did your buddies from the west coast talk about this one night in their basement and decide he wasn't? 

He had a horrid start to the season and is within striking distance to being top 5 in the league in points. For whatever reason he wasn't good early on... hurt or frustrated or just not producing. I would be curious to see where he ranks in points from the day Johnston got fired until the end of the season. I bet it's a whole hell of a lot higher than 23rd. Someone else also pointed out that Crosby has the highest playoff ppg for an active player... but he sucks in playoffs. Alex Ovechkin ranks 6th on that list but he also isn't good then.

Show me in the past year where owners and players have called him best in the league. Carey price won the ted lindsey award last season. But im sure you still thought it was crosby

No, I knew exactly who won the Lindsey award. Carey Price had an incredible season and deserved it. Now we are going to compare goalies and centers, right?

Im so happy crimson and hank are actually ignoring what i consider elite is and go for players that i already ruled out.... happens with feable weak minded inviduals.

What you consider elite is the list of your favorite players you have formulated in your head to be the best. Making you biased towards those individuals. You have to have a degree in Political Science.

Reading this thread literally makes me feel dumber.  I may order Rosetta Stone just to try to learn something at some point this season.  

The year Crosby doesn't win the Ted Lindsay you bring up that he isn't looked up as the best by his peers.

Let's recap since Crosby came into the league who has won this award:

Ovechkin - '08, '09, '10
Crosby - '07, '13, '14
Jagr - '06
D Sedin - '11
Malkin - '12
Price - '15

Now let's quickly recap how many season since Crosby entered the league he played at least 65 games:  6
Take out Crosby's rookie year when he was 18 years and he won the award that the players on the actual game votes on 3 out of 5 times.

Also, if it is playoff success and championships that make an elite player why do you dismiss a player with 1 Stanley Cup, 2 Stanley Cup appearances, 2 Gold Medals, A world Juniors, and a World Championship?  Most all while team captain.

Or do you just talk out of your A$$?

All ive said is elite is for the very best in any sport who wins a championship, not anyone who wins one. Then after saying this you throw out the exact things i have stated is not elite.....

Then you say i didnt call crosby elite when i most certainly did. Its like trying to explain 2+2 = 4 to 3 year olds.
