Yes, we discussed that on a previous thread. It didn't make a lot of sense.

So now does D6 not play on week 10 and start playoffs on week 11?

D6 will probably have a 12 team field...that's my guess anyway

As for Single A next year It's really not gonna matter how many games or what road Bishop Guilfoyle takes. Unless some sort of divine intervention happens with transfers, suspensions or injuries they will roll to a three peat state championship.

Hank, I see where you're getting at however districts have been playing extra game on the state level for quite some time now so this really is nothing new. However Berlin being AA now it directly effects the Mountaineers unfortunately. Look at Bedford/Chestnut Ridge or Karns City in the previous years....all had to win an extra game just to be level with everyone else(except D7). It still all boils down to how many schools you have in your district, which directly effects where you enter the state playoffs at.

Yes, I understand this. I don't mind the extra game so much for D5 as I do for one less game for D6. Are even more teams making the D6 playoffs now?

12 out of 18 isn't half... The numbers aren't in front of me but I think there are 18 teams in A next year.

Posted It before I could Crimson...In 2016 there are 19 Single A District 6 Schools and seven District 5. Double AA D6 has 11 and D5 has three.
