State Honorable Mention Ridgeway (19-2) rallies from a 7 point halftime deficit to top Saint Joseph's. The Wolves seem to be gaining momentum for the post season. I wonder if we will see another first round match-up with Homer again this year. I'm sure the Wildcats would like some payback.

West Branch 54  Claysburg 51  BOYS Score.  Claysburg was winning with about 2 minutes left but West Branch seniors found a way to pull it out.

Claysburg lost to WB by 40 points two weeks ago.

Mccort would have to beat j-town and westmont also. Westmont at times is tough to beat also, but very inconsistent. You never know what team will show up. They can upset teams too!

You want to talk inconsistency?  FH beat both BMCHS and Westmont.  And neither game was a nail biter.  Somerset deserves the title.

I'm not sure how the news channels work, but they sorely dropped off since Maisel left.  


As for the newspaper part, if a team fails to report their score - that's their problem. It's misguided to blame the Tribune if the Forest Hills coaches failed to report their box score after their loss to Guilfoyle.

For my part, as soon as the second of 3 weather reports is over, I'm turning to WTAJ for sports.
