District 5 and 6 Pitching
Season is season is over for most. Which pitchers from area teams impressed you the most? Let's take a look at it by class. Senior - Trey McGough had a strong and impressive season. Junior - Christner from Meyersdale was strong and should be a presence again next year. Hope Braxton Roxby has a strong return for next year. Sophomore - Bryce Kretchman is holding his own in Meyersdales journey through the playoffs (promising for Meyersdale 1-2 punch returning). I can't name any Freshman as I don't think I saw one pitch all year. Are there any to look out for? Can't remember reading about any in the paper. Just a start..... Who else needs mentioned?

Devin Renzi. Jake Shope. Adam Cecere, before his elbow inflamed.
It ain't over until it's over.

Did the pitcher from Berlin not play this year? Not pitch? Hurt? I remember seeing his name in the paper last spring, but didn't at all this season. For the life of me I can't remember what his name is, but he seemed to pitch a great deal.

Bishop McCort sophomore lefty Brett Seitz has had a very good playoff run winning a game in the semi's, the D6 championship, and the first game of the PIAA playoffs. He may very well likely get the ball today in the Western Final. He's legit and will be a good one the next two seasons as well.

And just like that, Seitz outduels the top pitching team left in the playoffs for a 1-0 win.
