Lights are bad, seating is a joke, parking situation is worse,.  Unbelievable that LHAC is accepting this as a varsity football facility

Add a Scoreboard that didn't keep game time 1st Half and not sure what locker-room situation was but at half time Johnstown was standing in field behind bleachers.

Once you factor in all of the wrestling mat, wall mats, labor, showers, toilets, urinals, locker rooms, heating, electric it will be up there in price. With title 9 now there would have to be male and female locker rooms and shower even if no girl would ever use it.

Just as an aside, I covered a game at Bishop McDevitt a few years ago and Altoona met for the half under the trees in a corner of the field. The locker rooms and restrooms there ... I felt like I was back in the time of Knute Rockne and George Gipp. Getting to the pressbox was similar to climbing the hill at Moshannon Valley's old field in Houtzdale.

McDevitt has a new facility, but I remember seeing old LeSean McCoy clips at the stadium you are referring to, it looked like a dump.

Yeah, it wasn't what you'd expect.

Whenever a WestPac team has to play at Ferndale, Blacklick Valley or North Star there is no locker rooms at any of those facilities either. I don't know why they don't just use the school gym locker rooms that are literally right next to the BC's field?

I would bet since the game was essentially over at the half, J-town kept their kids out to try and make the most of their time prepping the young kids that were getting ready to play.

From what I remember, when FH played BC at St. Francis, they stayed on the field at half-time.
