They said it's either the same or similar procedure to what Roethlisberger just had done, and he's likely playing Sunday.

You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!!!

Not saying it will happen, but I really believe Blairsville could knock out Homer. It's a huge rivalry and the last game was Blairsville's first game after everything happened and the weather was atrocious and if Blairsville's passing game is on point, they could knock out Homer I believe.

Rivalry games can always go either. You can normally throw out the records; however, the Bobcats may not make it to week 2 of the post season...

Re: District 6 A Playoff Thread
I don't see it. Blairsville was the beneficiary of a soft schedule early on. As someone said earlier, sometimes the things they had to go through can bring a team together, but unfortunately they weren't ever that great of a football team. They simply played a bunch of mediocre teams early on. Having to kick starters off the team late in the season usually doesn't mean that the team is starting to come together either. I don't think they make it out of the first week, but if they somehow did they aren't beating Homer. It won't be the complete blowout that it was the first time, but Homer would still win by at least a couple touchdowns.BHSfan97 wrote:Not saying it will happen, but I really believe Blairsville could knock out Homer. Blairsville has been in the tank since the United loss
Re: District 6 A Playoff Thread
You honestly think that your oh so wonderful lions are the reason for how Blairsville is playing now? Blairsville has been dealt a situation that no other school I can think of has had to go through. United played them right after the first conflict, so do you really think their minds were on that game? You'll find out soon enough how good united is. And on another thread, do you honestly think they would be a 1-loss team with plowman and beaker? Kids transfer for reasons and I'm sure both of their reasoning was to get out of that winless program.CrimsonLion wrote:Blairsville has been in the tank since the United loss

United, Blairsville, West Shamokin, and even Penns Manor. They are what their records say they are. None of them are that good. They are average football teams. They were all capable of beating each other, because none of them were completely terrible, but none of them were dominant either.D6fan34 wrote:You honestly think that your oh so wonderful lions are the reason for how Blairsville is playing now? Re: District 6 A Playoff Thread
First Brainiac, never said one loss, if you have good reading comprehension skills I said two and yes Homer City and Ligonier would be the two losses.
Never said they have been on a losing streak because of United, they did go in the tank after that defeat. That's just a fact.
Don't think I ever said the Lions are wonderful, they're a .500 football team. Blairsville played the easiest part of their schedule early on. Outside of HC and Ligonier any of the rest of the teams are fairly comparable minus let's say Marion Center.
Schools all deal with their own issues, PM won last week after their stud RB got arrested. The first kid wasn't on the team when he did what he did. He hadn't played since last year.
So pull your panties out of the wad their in and reread before coming at me with that drivel.
