It's not so much recruiting as it is parents sending their gifted athlete children to these schools for an education.

Yes in quest of scholarships to Garrett County Community College or Penn Highlands which they could have, of course, easily earned at their home schools.

If a parent chooses to give their child a catholic education. I don't see nothing wrong with that. If that kid has been going to catholic school since kindergarten and decides to continue his catholic education in high school. I have no problem with that either. It's when these kids go to public school all their lives and decide to transfer to a better team, because their team can't compete or maybe they think they'll have a better chance to be noticed by a college recruiter. The catholic schools are usually their only option unless they move to a new school district. Those are the parents that I would have a problem with, not the parents and kids that have been going to a catholic school all their lives.
I'm just curious, can anybody name an athlete with D2 or D3 talent at the next level that has transferred from a public school to let's say BC?

The longer it takes to make a decision may indicate there is more of a rift than those in the stands think. If it were BC out and ridge in, that should have been easy. Obviously there is more. I think there is more forthcoming. My guess is with those who feel that the lac will dissolve with a new conference emerging. That new conference will not include more than one of the current members.
