I had heard it was Josh Persio, who transferred during 8th grade to BC and played 9th grade for them on junior high but is not currently playing for BC.

Alex Persio did transfer to CC. Not sure if he'd be eligible to play for them this year or not.
Isn't there a certain date you have to transfer by your junior year to be eligible for your senior year?

I don't think you're required to sit out unless you transfer back to the school you transferred from. Elijah Benton was able to play in a football game the week he transferred this fall.

So he's transferring from a 3-7 team to go play for an 8-2 team?  Wonder if Carroll was out to a great start 8-2 start, and CC was struggling at 3-7 if this transfer would have still happened?

I thought the exact same thing Crimson.  Kid leaves CC to go to BC because they were good.  Now CC is good so the same kid transfers from BC back to CC. Interesting

The Persio kid can shoot the ball, but his defense is terrible. Maybe he just didn't like or couldn't handle Cosie's style of basketball on the defensive side of the ball. I think he'll fit in with CC, but I'm not sure he's going to get the playing time he was getting at BC though.

ChrisKentRam you are a little confused.  There are 2 Persio boys at BC.  One transferred from CC to BC in 8th grade, is still there but is not playing basketball.  Apparently, the one who always went to the catholic school is transferring to CC
