Bellwood 73
Ligonier 57

This was technically a second round game so Bellwood has some time off.

I tried to tell everyone about LV and the heritage. I guess other schools also get better as the season goes on.

Not surprised at all by the PV/PC score. PC with 44 after 3 and only 5 in the 4th. That's PV basketball.

Bellwood has a nice team, and they do have three starters back from last year's District Six championship squad, and it showed.  They were the more physical team, and they really owned the paint.  Tanneyhill really had a nice game.  They get to rest this weekend, and should come out pretty fresh for presumably Richland next week.

Ligonier has some talented guys, they just really got out of sync in the middle quarters.  With Paola and Marinchak, they should have some nice teams in the coming seasons.

Reading the review of the CV-CK girls game in today's Trib I can't fathom two numbers I'm seeing.  Seven.  That's how many players are on CK's roster.  Forty.  The total number of fouls called in the game.  Wow.

Touche prophet.  I stand by the fact that Ligonier improved more than your average team because they got a late start on the season.  However, it didn't matter Bellwood dominated after the first quarter.  Hats off to them, they played a great game.

With an elevator in the stands for postseason games, refs tend to overcompensate in my opinion. I read the other day the Steel Valley boys had to finish a game with four guys the other day.
