5A is Monday and 6A is Tuesday. Both doubleheaders. Monday at 6:00 is Bellwood vs McCort girls. Tuesday at 6:00 Is Carroll vs Juniata Valley AAU girls.

Sounds like a trip to Altoona on Tuesday to watch a single A girls game against a private school and the combo of Bedford County and Juniata Valley public school of transfers and a decent 6A boys game against 2 publics.

Pine-Richland features Phil Jurkovec, one of the best quarterbacks in the country. He's already committed to Notre Dame as a junior. He's a good hoops player as well.

dadw/2sons - you and Tussey Mtn fan need to give up already on the JVU comments.  every one of those girls have families that are living in the district, own property and pay real estate and school taxes.  Not sure what you're beef is with families that move to another school district to give their kids a better opportunity based on what they see best for their children.  They are not paying a "tuition" to attend JVSD and any nonsense/fake news you sling around is not factually true.   If the same conditions happened to your school district (and it happens all of the time) you would not be complaining at all about it.
