Single-A, Blacklick Valley vs. Saint Joseph's has been moved to Friday at 4:00 PM due to the Saint Joseph's graduation ceremony on Saturday.

Rangers finish the season 15-5, downing CHts. 11-1 in 7 inn. in a rescheduled rainout.  Even though Somerset lost their last 2 games, by virtue of beating FH earlier, they edged the Rangers out on points for the #1 6-quad A seed.  Somerset vs either Bellefonte/ J'town winner, and FH vs Bedford.  Games start next Mon. at the 2 higher seed fields.  What a road trip for Bellefonte!  Maybe.
It ain't over until it's over.

In actuality the winner could catch a huge break the rest of the field doesn't have. Playing Friday instead of Saturday will give them 3 days between games and essentially reset all of their pitch counts. Don't know the teams well enough to know if that will even matter but worth noting.

It could certainly help for the second round, presumably against Homer, but I don't foresee anyone hanging with Juniata Valley in the end.

Agree that JV is the favorite. They had us on the ropes at Curve Classic but a few defensive lapses proved costly.

Bellefonte lost a bunch of consecutive games, but did beat Central Martinsburg early in the season. They could surprise. 4 team field is pretty even. On any given day....

Bellefonte was last seed (or almost last seed) in district playoffs last year after going about .500 in regular season and went on to win 3A State title.
