Hard to imagine the Pens play anywhere close to this poorly again. Also hard to imagine Rinne plays that poorly again. At the end of the day the Pens are one step closer to the Cup.
37 minutes w/o a shot on goal......12 total shots, 5 goals.  I'll take the 5, not the 12.  Thats gotta change.

A few bright spots about last nights game
- anytime you score close to 50% of your shots on goal, you're gonna win the game
- Pens still find a way to win after blowing a 3 goal lead
- Guentzel found the back of the net again after a bit of a hiatus and still leads the league in playoff goals
- Despite the lack of talent on the Pens defense without Letang, they sacrifice their bodies to prevent goals
- I feel like the Preds threw everything they had at the Pens and still came up short

Pens in 6.

Over aggressiveness gives the pens fits. If you can keep the pressure on the entire game chances are better for you winning. But if you get lax just few minutes or just a few series the pens will bite you every time.

Over aggressiveness leads to breakdowns defensively. Pens don't throw away opportunities, hence 5 goals on 12 shots. I actually think the Sens style is more conducive of giving Pens fits. I don't think the Preds can do that tho bc they know they don't have the offensive fire power to just take their opportunities when they get them. The Preds have to play over aggressively which leaves them vulnerable. I could see a sweep here.

I actually agree. However, with the way the Pens have been playing offensively the key is they have to take advantage of those mistakes when they appear. The difference between Preds and Sens is yet to be seen...Sens didn't make many mistakes, I don't think they'll sweep but 4-1 looks bout right

I was going to say exactly this, but I don't like to jinx the hockey world. Would love to see them win at home.

All the hype over Rinne coming into the finals appears to be vastly overblown. I'm not impressed at all with him. He has given up some very easy goals, unlike Anderson who stood on his head the entire previous series.
