PIAA Championship Schedule

Post by Sykotyk »

I haven't seen anything confirming it yet. But the talk was after last year's first run of six championships, that a rescheduling was in order. Primarily, putting three games on Saturday was just too much for the stadium to handle. Primarily due to lockerroom facilities not accommodating the teams and unable to overlap much. So, the rumor at the time was to move one more game to Thursday and have 2 games on each of the three days. Spaced apart about as they are now. Roughly 1pm/7pm or noon/6pm roughly.

However, I haven't seen anything about it. Any confirmation of any changes?

To which sport are you referring? Football?

Yes. That's the section it's in. Not sure what dadw2sons was referencing (baseball?).

I think 2 each day would probably make the whole weekend run smoother.

Thanks.  Being up in the 'preview' section, right next to the PIAA baseball championships, led to the bit of confusion.
It ain't over until it's over.

Yep, I agree. I'd rather see 3 in one day twice, but with the stadium limitations, that's the best solution.
