Top 5 NFL QB's
Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
The Current NFL Starters can be but into these categories rather easily:
-Greats (can take you all the way by themselves): Brady, Rodgers
-Goods (with a little help, can take you all the way): Ryan, Newton, Stafford, Carr, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Wilson
-Serviceables (with a great supporting cast, you can win with them): Palmer, Flacco, Dalton, Smith, Cutler, Bradford, Eli, Cousins
-Can’t win withs: Taylor, Glennon, Tolzien, Bortles, McCown
The rest haven’t been in the league long enough to give a fair assessment either way but I will classify them this way:
-Too new but trending up: Prescott, Wentz, Winston, Mariota, Watson
-Too new but trending down: Goff, Kizer, Siemian

Rodgers needs to get to the super bowl again. As far as current this year, i like your list.abpk2903 wrote:The Current NFL Starters can be but into these categories rather easily:

Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
For everyone so high on Rodgers every year he seems to choke in the playoffs a lot.
Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
He has carried the Packers deep into the playoffs multiple times with holes all through that roster. One year he would do it with a defense ranked in the bottom third of the league, another year the offensive line play is atrocious, another year their receiving corps literally all injured, and heck last year they went to the NFC Championship game using a WR as their "go-to" RB. That team would have been lucky to average 7 wins a year over the last decade without Rodgers.
Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
Matt Ryan played the same choke tune. Dominated through regular season then choked in the playoffs...until he finally made the super bowl..and choked the hardest choke that ever choked

Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
Are Super Bowls the best metric to judge a quarterback? Is Trent Dilfer better than Dan Marino?
I know some old time Steeler fans and even writers that have covered the team for years would generally say Roethlisberger is the best QB in Steelers history. Many have said Bradshaw was along for the ride on the 70 Super Bowl runs. Was he that good? I know he was good, but top 5 ever good?

Re: Top 5 NFL QB's
He has 2 superbowl MVPs in his 4 championships. He was able to lead one of the most balanced offenses in NFL history! Yes be did have an amazing defense but he also had a big clutch factor in big games.
