The only playoff games on grass regularly are the 4 WPIAL championships at Heinz Field.

I stand corrected. I remember just a few years ago it was pure slop by the time the last game was played that weekend.

I have always loved Portage's stadium. The castle type look gets me every time. And if fans don't want Portage fans to sit on the visitor side, they should bring more fans with them, ha

I wasn't complaining about the Portage fans. It was just an observation. I was there as a neutral observer wanting to see a good game. It just surprised me with two sets of bleachers,  there were many empty seats on the portage side. And many portage shirts and jackets on the visitor side. I usually don't see that.

I often sit on the other side away from all the football moms and football dads.

If I remember right, the home side actually looks into the sun before the time change makes this irrelevant. This could be why.

You are right Hank, home side bleachers face a setting sun. Alot of fans been sitting/standing on the visitors side for years because of that reason. Guess once you get use to watching a game from a spot..that's where you go.
