I think Forest Hills had a better chance of knocking them off than anyone. In district 6 A I don't think anyone touches them as most A schools don't average 290 up front with 3 215 lb backs, there's just no depth to cover them all.
BG has one 215 lb back in Sankey, but he's been far from their most productive.  Yasulitis has been their most punishing runner and Berish, at 5'8" 175, is the threat to break it on any given play.

The difficulty in defending BG is that there isn't anyone to key on. Conrad can throw a TD pass one play and haul in a 45 yarder from Yasulitis the next. Get Berish one step past the line where he has room to juke and he's hard to touch. Patterson is a really solid TE who's making nice grabs on the short patterns. The line, again this year, is big enough to step up two classes.
The kicking game is a weapon. Knowing little about Johnstown except what I can glean from common opponents, I have to go with BG.

Yeah BG has a lot of interchangeable parts, they don't have 1 great player, but they have 3-4 really good ones that can touch the ball and score.   Johnstown has a ton of weapons as well, but Austin Barber is a really special player. He definitely stands out on the offensive side of the ball in this game.

Yasulitis is listed at 6'0" 217
Sankey 6'2" 208
And John Fanelli also saw many reps but just one carry against CC and is listed at 6'1" 208
Like I said, when you have 2 backs that big regularly get the ball and another one blocking, good luck to any A school around here beating them

Can't dispute that. Johnstown had the best player on the field last year and they didn't include him in their offensive strategy to routinely put the ball in his hands.

I could not agree more that this is where the game will be won.  Johnstown was too arrogant to admit that they could not cover Long from FH one on one and he went off.  Last year they just thought they could out muscle BG and did not have to even use Xree.   Most of their games they can win because they have better athletes.  But FH and BG are not like the other games on the schedule.
I agree Barber has special talent, I expect BG will look to contain him and not let him make chain moving plays with his feet.  Shamar has to show that he is a true monster in the middle.
I expect BG to try to control the ball and just pound it.  Everyone in the stadium knows that if Conrad lines up at receiver, they are throwing to him.
I think the kicking game is strong for both teams, Marino is not as good as Kolton, but is solid, definitely one of the better kickers in the area.
At the end of the day, still believe BG leaves Johnstown on Friday with the streak intact, but will have to put a solid night of work in.
