Re: AAAA Championship: Johnstown vs. Bellefonte
I'm not sure the cold should bother anyone, but if it does Johnstown played deep into the season last year, so they've played/practiced in cold situations before whereas Bellefonte's season was over before it got cold last year.
Again, if it's cold and dry, I don't see it being a huge issue.
If it's wet, the passing games could suffer.

I'm pretty sure when I was at the CR/Berlin game last year it was that cold, gonna be again. 30's-40's is football weather..anything less than that is miserable.DragonsDoExist wrote:Yeah, the game time "feels like" temp of 17 might test how badly I really want to catch this game.knowitall wrote:Friday's daytime high temperature is expected to be 30 in Johnstown. By 7:00 it could be in the 20s or even teens. Which team is prepared for that?

The coldest game many teams have played this year was probably in the 50s. I doubt any team is prepared for the teens and 20s.Crimson's Ghost wrote:I'm not sure the cold should bother anyone, but if it does Johnstown played deep into the season last year, so they've played/practiced in cold situations before whereas Bellefonte's season was over before it got cold last year.

GH Miller Field has pretty much identical seating on both sides. It's a good place to watch a game. The bleachers aren't super tall but they run the length of the field on both sides.
