100% agree.  As a whole, the Capitals have been, and still are, the dirtiest team in the league.  Nothing will be done about the Oshie hit, but clearly should be.  Another example of how atrocious and inconsistent the NHL officiating is.
I'm rather frustrated watching the Caps get away with things that are more Obvious, and more Egregious than stuff the Pens get penalized for.
Like the 1 penalty on Guentzel. It was a penalty, by definition. Okay. But, then how do you not call the penalty on Oshie?!?
And, I forget, who was the Cap that got tapped on his Left hand, but "shook his right hand in pain?" It got chuckles out of the announcers, "You usually shake the hand that hurts, hahaha."
Can you say, Embellishment?

Too many mistakes by defensemen. Well, we'll see if they clean it up, and come back to win the next 2.

Agree. 2 goals prior to the empty net were all on Letang. Defense as a whole was bad, but Matta and Letang especially.

Oh well, it's true. You can't win 'em all.

How exciting would a Tampa-Winnipeg cup final be?
