It's a decline in the populations of every town that had a steel mill or coal mine. No jobs, no people. It's all over, not just the WPIAL.
It ain't over until it's over.

It’s interesting because similar areas like Ohio and Michigan have been producing high level talent of late.

I'm with Manfred on this one, the article even said there is similar drops in Cleveland, Chicago and Indy.
