Roger assured us that his original move to Ligonier was not prompted by athletic intent, so I’m assuming the ‘personal issues’ followed him to Ligonier requiring yet another relocation. This is proof that D6 and the PIAA made the right decision in this matter!

This is the confusing part for me. If he wasn’t allowed to play for LV, and is now leaving, he clearly didn’t go there for anything but athletic intent. So he transfers to Kiski to play football and this isn’t athletic intent in the eyes of the PIAA?

Maybe the transfer was just about getting out of United?

Commuters pay $31,000 a year to attend Kiski Prep. Residential students pay $61,300.

Ah ok. Didn’t realize. Still makes it seem like athletic intent from the beginning.Crimson's Ghost wrote:Kiski Prep isn't in the PIAA....

As a parent you know your child only has 4 years to participate in high school sports, you cannot get more and you see that the sports program at the school your child participates at barely has enough kids to play.
IMO you wouldn’t be doing your job as a parent to look to get your child to another school. That is actually your only job as a parent to put your kids in the best situation. There seems to be some pleasure in this kid being held out or having to go to extreme measures just to play. I just don’t get it.

So they’re paying $30,000+ to maybe hope to get a partial PSAC scholarship? Doesn’t seem worth it and if he was good enough he would have gotten noticed. United’s problem now is their QB got hurt, didn’t he play QB?theprophet wrote:As a parent you know your child only has 4 years to participate in high school sports, you cannot get more and you see that the sports program at the school your child participates at barely has enough kids to play.
