Great summary of the movie...I'm right there with you in all your feelings.

I would NOT be afraid to show this to younger children though (if they can read). I don't have a child, so I don't have room to talk...BUT...

Why shelter the minds of children? When you are a child you are most impressionable. Many young children don't like going to church because they go to school all week. This is the kind of eye opener that people need to see. People should see what had to be done for us to be saved and cleansed of sin. I wish I had seen this a long time ago, it might have helped shape my life even further....

oh yeah...the subtitles...

The first two or three lines was like...oh man this is going to be tough...THEN it all just clicks and it is very quick and easy to read. It seems like you aren't even reading it at times anyway because you can quickly decipher what is being said. As Foghorn said, DON'T LET THEM SCARE YOU AWAY!

when I think about the movie(which I still do after a week and a half) it's like I remeber hearing it in english and there were no subtitles. It's weird in a way.
Nice catch Hayes. Don't ever F****** do it again.

I really wanted to see this movie. I am hoping to take a break from the madness in my life to relax and go see this movie. :D It sounds interesting and I've heard many good things about it.

I have no idea what some of the critics are talking about saying this movie brings anything against Jewish people. When i saw the people yelling "Crucify Him!", i didn't see only the Jewish people, i saw every one of us putting him on the cross. This is an excellent movie and I believe that everybody should see it. Young kids should obviously talk with their parents first, but, as Coach said, we shouldn't hide this movie from kids. At a young age, kids should be able to see what Jesus did for us by dying on the cross. A lot of children see Jesus' death as him just hanging on a cross on a grassy hillside. In reality, he was insanely beaten before that, and the cross was actually in what was somewhat the town dump. The movie pulls you in and there's no way you can take your eyes off of the screen. As others said b4, don't let the foreign languages scare you away. You get used to the subtitles, and it's easy to tell what's going on the entire time.

wow...i need to go c this movie. from what u all have said on here it sounds like its a great movie and that it would be a real eyeopener. and i agree with coach that it shouldnt be held back from kids, i think that they should be able to know that truth and what really did happen. i mean i can understand that parents dont want their kids to c things like that cuz its so graphic, but i mean u cant hide the truth.

Passion of Christ Movie

I had the chance to go and see the movie on Monday March 8th.

If you get the chance to see it, GO! It is so real of what Jesus went through.
