Ross Perot's Reform Party is still around. They've given their endorsement to the Independent Ralph Nader.

Dawg, I'm sure those Florida votes are already taken care of. (Cheap shot, I know -- but how could I resist?)

Re: JK Speech
Once again it is in full swing. Every 4 years politics show us just how evil, dirty, nasty and corrupt our leadership in this country is. I am talking about every aspect of politics. It seems after listening to so much of what they say is their focus, the country, the people, the economy that when you listen to it all, everything comes back to them. They think it is all about them. Well I have some heart breaking news for them, it is not about them. It is not about you or I. As stated in Rick Warren's book "The Purpose Driven Life". "It's not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your own happiness. It's far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams or ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by His purpose and for His purpose". This is the man I am going to vote for. It certainly is not JK.

Interesting comments from Bush. I think this is the first time he has made these comments about the war in Iraq.

foghorn, you have to admit that people who think religion has no place in politics, or are atheists, vote mainly Democrat. I just saw a report yesterday that stated a big majority of those that attend church regularly vote Republican.
Do I think that Democrats are void of religious beliefs? No way. But I don't think those beliefs are at the top of the list when most Democrats vote, and it is for alot of Republicans.

Personally, I think the Religious vote follows more along the line of conservative/liberal vs. Repub/Demo.
Conservatives are more likely to be of the Right Wing "Shiite" Baptist variety. Who are strict in their interpretation of the Bible and the Constitution. While the Liberals are more open/loose in their interpretation.
I think the Catholics get caught in the cross fire with their party. A lot are Pro-Life, while they are generally pro-union anti-big business.
What I like about America is that our country was founded on Religious Freedom. The freedom to choose if and how we each as individuals want to worship.
The fact of the matter is, that concept was in its day a completely"Liberal" concept.

So much, so much, so much, we could talk about religion and politics all day I beleive our Country was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, The Bible, not religious freedom. I have a relationship not religion. We have swayed away to the, "do it my way" theory, or it's all about me way of thinking or the forget the Bible, it can't be right conclusion. What our country needs is to get back to it's foundation, it's roots, and that is the Bible. After all it is what our Country was first founded on, just do some research. I just want you all to know that I appreciate you all, and all of your comments and opinions. After all that is what makes bleacher coaches what it is. Thanks again.
