I was at the Penn State game against Akron and listened for hours to how the team was BACK! Well, I guess they are back. Back to the way they have played the past four years. When will JoePa retire? I know some will disagree with this, but he is the WORST coach in the Big 10 right now. It is not even close. With the talent he has, his record is awful.

By the way, Rutgers and Boston College have now beaten Big 10 teams. I will shut my mouth about the Big East because the Big 10 has been terrible. However, the Buckeyes (with only 4 senior starters) are still better than any team the Big East can throw at them.

You are right with poor coaching and the players are not very good either. did you see how bad PSU LB play is?? They have no WR and they are suppose to be so good, give me a break!!

Penn State left the defense at home. Very very poor defense

Looks like it could be another rough year for the Lions. Maybe Joe-Pa should seriously consider hanging it up if they have another bad year. The Lion fans can't be very happy with this loss.

Good WIN for the Big East and beating a below average Penn St. team. Boy I hope the Big 10 is better than this. Michigan losing to ND. Where are all the Little Lion fans now??

First off let me start by saying that BC just physically outplayed the Lions...and why does everyone think Boston College is not very good...they are known as O-Line U....they put more lineman in the pros than any other team besides Wisconsin and Jeremy Trueblood is gonna be a first rounder this year to...the quarterback looked really good...WVU has a tough game come November 13th against BC..it is gonna be a good game...and as far as PSU goes...they should stop going outside the state to recruit and worry about getting in state players...such as a linebacker that attends school with me right now as a post graduate....he has a full ride to Iowa as a fullback/linebacker..he was a AAAA all-state fullback and linebacker in PA and he also played for the AAAA state championship and won....so why is he going to Iowa and not PSU when he lives in PSU country?

pennsylvania is a talent rich state which many schools recruit in heavily, especially big ten schools. psu has not been able to get all the top prospects in the state since the number of scholarship available to the program became limited by means of title IX. recruiting is not the problem right for psu. execution on the field is.

psu lost one game to a good team on the road. let me post this under the signs of the apocalypse topic in the HOB forum. not many teams can overcome 5 turnovers and some very costly penalties against a good team on the road. psu will recover and be 3-1 heading into a very tough game against purdue who has been lights out so far this season.

I love 2 hear the sound of a crying lion tear tear but the key word should b fear. IF Penn State has another season like last year, do u really think it was a good idea 2 keep JOe Pa around. He is gonna die on the 50 someday, but his days r way past him and his team sucks. Penn State can lose every game and i will route against them and cheer 4 the other team because that's what i do present fear and loathe the lil lionesses
