When you say Forest Hills, the first thing I think is how Derek McCormick ripped a shirt off a kid the third week last year because it was green and yellow, YIKES! I also think, and am amazed, at how competitive the rivalry is. You read in the paper every 3 months or so about a rival basketball game or football game where the fans get into fights, the players are brawling, and so far that the fans were not allowed into the game because the hatred was so much. This is no where near the case for the Bedford Forest Hills rivalry. Nothing but the upmost respect is shown on and off the field or playing surface when both teams get together in any sport. Of course nobody likes to lose to each other, but it only drives for more improvement for the next meeting, being the playoffs or the next regular season matchup.
