In my opinion, F.N.L. displayed H.S. football as we like to think of it. Big hits, lots of emotion, and good kids playing their hearts out. Definitely a movie worth seeing.

I wasn't a big fan of the movie. First off, a guy with the nick-name Boobie is just hilarious and I laughed at that everytime. And the movie is slow, drug out. Remember the Titans is leaps and bounds, hop skip and a jump ahead of F. N. L. Plus, how many highschools across the nation have D-I colleges at their first practice of the year. The basics of the movie might be what people percieve as high school football today, but that fact just blows the entire out of any league around here. And I would love to be the head coach there, getting paid more than the principal, wow, must be nice to work for 3 months out of the year...

Read the book, it's not a joke like that movie.

I went out and bought the book after I saw the movie. I bought it on Wednesday night and by Friday night, I had finished it. I thought the book was ten times better than the movie.

i thought it was funny...in our school newspaper The Lions Tale the comment about this movie was the story line was very far fetched. i just found it funny because it was based on a true story. great movie and i'll definitely read the book
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.
