I think this season is going to say alot for the players mentioned. I mean everyone is talking about Randy Spaid and what he CAN do. I don't think he did that much last year. I think THIS year he will be the most dominate player around. People are referring to LAST year. I think overall last year its no contest with Drew Shubik. Last year Drew was THE BEST OVERALL PLAYER. As of players that played last year that are playing this year. Andy Byer was the best OVERALL player. Personally, I think Spaid should have done alot more. But this year will speak alot. On the other hand David Kitcho did alot last year. He scored 20 just about every night, did Spaid?...no..Portage isn't going to have that great of a year with ONE great player. Ain't going to happen. Shubik had Druist and Mogoanila. Don't get me wrong, he was a great player that made them better..but what does Kitcho and Spaid have beside themselves?....nothing worthly.

The top players in the WestPac are Spaid, Byer, and Kitcho. PERIOD.

Top Overall = Kitcho / Byer
Top Offensive = Spaid

I someone could update me on how byer is doing compared to the rest of the league. Or west pac in general. that would be sweet. It sucks being in college and all out of the loop. To all you HS Seniors. Savor this, cause your going to miss it alot.

Tonight will start most of the WestPac games.

I know that Berlin beat Somerset earlier in the Tip-off they were in. Portage beat Claysburg in there Tip-Off, while Conemaugh Valley lost 2 games to Westmont and Johnstown I believe. CV's stud Josh Lupek is injured and if im not mistaken I don't think he played in either of the games, forcing Robert Gundby, and Marshall to basically lead the way for the Blue Jays. I could imagine that CT's ready and all, with leaders like Byer and Watkins. Berlin Jared McCormick looked strong in the paper, putting up some good numbers for the Mountaineers. As for Ferndale, I believe they lost in there Tip-off. Mosley and company lead the way for the Vikings as they are now 1-1, just like the Mustangs. Portage lost to Glendale, and beat Claysburg in there tourney.

I no that Conemaught Township, Portage, Conemaugh Valley, and Berlin all have games. After the games, thoughts about each teams first couple of games will probably be posted.

Sorry but Conemaugh Valley Closed the weekend 1-1 with a win over united and a horrible performance against westmont, Johnstown put a pretty big beating on Berlin and Ligonier...
