Re: Brent Willison
I agree that Brent is not always given the credit he deserves and I was glad to see that he made the finals. It was an exciting match with him and Lascari. I was upset to hear the hornet fans booing at the end of the match. I understand that some felt the two back points were not there, however, boo the ref not the kid. As for saying that the Lascaris are immature, open your ears. I sat close to the Hyndman fans and heard the words coming out of some of their mouths. You have to realize that emotions run high after a big win, the lascaris are an emotional family.
The Tony Lascari / Josh Snyder match was also exciting. I have to pick Lascari at districts, but Im looking forward to another match-up between these two. Lion- I dont think too much will change before Districts time.

I have to agree that we will see the same results at districts. Brent has a chance at Chris just because of his style and an assured high scoring match. But Josh has to get something going on his feet (both offensively and defensively) if he is going to beat Tony, but it's a little late in the season for that.
The post match antics were terrible on both sides after the Willison/Lascari match. There was no reason for the Hyndman fans to be booing after the match (although I think a lot of other Bedford County folks were booing as well, probably just because it was a North Star kid and a Lascari at that). Chris won a hard fought match that could have gone either way and there was no place for booing in that gym. I was rather amused by Sal's reaction to his younger brother's win, but nonetheless it had no more of a place in that gym than the booing.
The reactions of many of the wrestlers Saturday night were outragious and unsportsman like. These kids were acting like they had just won a state title (I don't condone those actions after a state title either, but I can understand the emotion there). Our wrestlers need a class in humility.

All you people talk about class and what not, question if the Lascaris have so little class what about all the hyndman fans booing him after he wrestled hard and won. what about the ref going and taking a water break while willison was taking an injury time and he didnt call it injury time when he was blowin snot out his nose on the side of the mat by his coaches in the middle of the match. I'm sorry but if i just busted my butt for 6 minutes like that and people booed me they could kiss my A$$ for all i cared. And the little ol lady you were referring to she and along with most of the bedford county people get into matches too if she was ticked and sayin things it happens get over it. Sal loved seein his bro beat willison as a sophmore because Sal beat him last year at the same tourny as a senior. PEACE!

One word. DISTRICTS! Yes the thomas torn is a big event. Districts is where it really counts. I think the outcome will be a lil different then!!

It is a great match up because Willison is a very strong slower more methodical cautious wrestler and Lascari is a very quick fast paced in shape wrestler it is two opposites that make the match soo interesting
