this is not what will happen but what should happen if each teams wants to help itself the most in the first round. actually, the middle rounds are what separates the patriots, eagles, and steelers from say the redskins and lions. for you steeler faithful, expect them to take a LB, CB, OL, and WR somewhere along the line. other than that, they will take the best player available.

49ers-Aaron Rodgers, take the local guy to sell some tix.

dophins-alex smith, travis henry needs a home. Smith will learn quickly.

browns-ronnie brown. Look for the browns to go defense the rest of the
draft.

Chicago-david terrel…I mean Braylon Edwards, throw it up and he will catch it

Tampa bay-Cadillac Williams, gruden has a man-crush on cadillac

Tennessee-Mike Williams might be the best player in the draft. Norm Chow knows it.

Minnesota-Derrick Johnson would add a lot of needed speed on defense for the vikings

Arizona-cedric benson is a horse. If only they had a qb….their offense would be decent.

Washington-antrell rolle, getting rolle in the secondary will please sean taylor

Detroit-Erasmus James, being hurt by a cheap block will not effect his pro career

Dallas-pac-man, cowboys had the worst cb’s in the league last year

Chargers-marcus spears, 300lbs of athlete at the end in the 3-4 is just what SD needs

Texans-alex barron, david carr will be giddy to finally have some pass protection

Panthers-shawne merriman, one more incredible athlete to carolina’s stacked front 7

Chiefs-carlos rogers, best player on the best defense in the nation last year

Saints-demarcus ware, will help the defensively challenged ‘aints

Bengals-Marlin Jackson, the second best cb in the big ten last year…

Vikings-troy willliamson has the speed to marcus robinson’s size to replace moss

Rams-jamaal brown, mel kiper says so…it must be true

Dallas-shaun cody, parcells really needs to improve his defense

Jags Khalif Barnes, cardiac cats getting big upfront

Ravens best wr avail, maybe matt jones

Seahawks Thomas Davis, tweener abilities never help draft status

Packers Fabian Washington, same as dallas, pass defense is #1 need

Broncos-travis johnson is big body in the middle on defense

Jets-david Pollack, could take heath miller, will take a DE to replace Abraham or a cb such as justin miller

Falcons- matt roth is a heckuva player at D end

Chargers-LT needs some run blocking, spreading the field with roscoe parrish might be just as good

Colts-The DT from USC, patterson

Steelers-heath miller, ramenburgher would be helped tremendously by this guy

Eagles-roddy white, being from UAB will hurt his stock, iggles cant rely on pinkston anymore

Patriots-the QB from harvard

Perhaps Braylong Edwards should go first in this year's class, but he won't. The 49ers are hung up on a QB, and either Aaron Rodgers or Alex Smith will be the first pick.

Yeah that did suprise me I thought the Brownies were going to take him. He might not be a bad replacement for Brett Favre.
