If Crosby were popular, he would get in. He has more points than half of the forwards who were picked, including Stamkos, Toews, Giroux, Jagr, Tavares, and Corey Perry.

Crosby has only played in one or two All Star games in his career, right?

Yep, 2, I believe last year and 2007. He missed 3 because of olympics and 4 or 5 because of injury I think.

And Letang makes sense. It's 3-on-3, they want offense and so most of the defensive players selected are guys that can score.
