This has also got to play a part. Kids today have so much more available to them than a generation ago, with off-season camps and instruction giving them a head start.

I would agree with lower enrollment in most of the area schools and just not the number of kids going out for sports you see a lot of freshmen getting playing time that you didn't see in years past..

It's definitely not what it used to be. I read about a FRESHMAN at Imani Christian that just got 1,000 points!!!!

Awesome player!! She's dribbling through ppl! Scoring in a multitude of ways!!  I have a daughter playing varsity as a frosh, and she plays a similar game as konek!!

Saw Irwin out of State College tonight for the 1st time in a few years. She broke the all time scoring record for boys and girls. Over 1800 pts. At 6'2, she's a complete player. Scored when she wanted against Altoona. She's the real deal.
