Re: Brent Musberger "You are looking LIVE at Pitt's spring G
SERIOUS question: When and why did Kincade decommit from Pitt how did I miss this?

Yesterday.
"There was just some uncertainty; I wasn't really sure that I was the top choice that they wanted, I understand I was inherited from Coach Graham and his staff, so we talked it over as a family and what we decided to do was to decommitt and start this back over with Pitt if they're really interested."
"That way, if they're not interested, they're not wasting a scholarship or getting overloaded at quarterback or something like that. I'm looking out for myself but I think I'm looking out for Pitt, too, so they can recruit as they want. I'm a Pitt fan at heart, I grew up a Pitt fan, and I really appreciate everything they've done."
"It was kind of a mutual thing, and now we can rebuild this if that's what they want."
All quotes from Chandler Kincade.
He was inherited from Graham, and I'm not much of a fan of committing as a sophomore. I don't think the staff valued him as highly as some other kids.
Pitt is interested in roughly 3-4 QB's right now, with Kincade being one of them. BUT, I don't believe he is their top choice. It seemed like a pretty mutual situation.

Re: Brent Musberger "You are looking LIVE at Pitt's spring G
QB wise, Pitt has offered....
1. Keller Chryst
2. Chandler Kincade
And they are closely watching
3. Andrew Ford
4. Joey Duckworth.
Obviously, Keller Chryst would be extremely incredible, yet unlikely. For those who don't follow such things, he is the nation's #1 quarterback. His Dad is the 49ers QB's Coach, and his Uncle is Pitt Head Coach, Paul Chryst. Many feel this race comes down to Stanford, USC, and Pitt. But I imagine he will attend Stanford.
From there, I think they like the Andrew Ford kid better than Kincade. They were at his HS watching him throw today. He's a lefty from Cedar Cliff HS down in Eastern PA.
It's hard to say where they will go for a QB, but Voytik by all accounts had an excellent Spring, and Chapman sounds like he did well enrolling early and practicing this Spring. So next year's race may actually be good and competitive.

Will the Anthony Lubrano, Jay Paterno, and Franco Harris statues be unveiled at the Blue-White game today?

Nice get with recruiting at Blue White weekend
Re: Brent Musberger "You are looking LIVE at Pitt's spring G
Wonder how Troy Apke feels about that. He (ranked 52nd as a receiver) commits to the Nits, and then one week later, the #34 receiver commits. Fools rush in......
