Shade at it again
Well Well well the "Kentucky" of somerset county is at it again. God ole Calipari Fyock is up to his old tricks in recruiting once again. Imagine if Fyock actually had to coach a game? The mirror does not lie!

What is allegedly going on? Can anyone explain what Shade is being accused of?

Re: Shade at it again
Don't know what original poster is referring to, but I saw on DV website where Shade and J-Christian are co-oping for basketball, football and cross country.
Isn't the JCS located in the Conemaugh Twp school district? If so why not a co-op with Township?
I am not familar with the geographics of the Somerset County school districts, but wouldn't North Star, Windber or even Ferndale be more geographically better choices?

Re: Shade at it again
Johnstown Christian had a nice Freshmen this year and two studs in 8th grade. However I heard that one of them was going to McCort and the other to Township. Not sure if the new co-op will keep them at JCS or not. If so those three kids would keep the Shade program at the top for several years to come.
Re: Shade at it again
Geez. A public school (drawing) from a "private" school. Imagine that. What is this world coming to?
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: Shade at it again
If Township co-ops with J-Christian, it might move Township to AA. They might not want to do move up a class. I'm sure Shade will stay at single A if they take in J-Christian. And is it possible that one of the J-Christian stud 8th graders will be going to McCort as a 9th grader???? Has the Lift Scholarship program struck again?????
Re: Shade at it again
Shade and JCS have had a co-op in soccer for a number of years already. Not sure why it's needed in the other sports but Fyock will make the most of what he gets from them.

not sure of the situation, but I'm sure Fyock (I'm guess the basketball coach or the AD) had very little to do w/ the co-op agreement. that's a school board issue.
Re: Shade at it again
I know for a fact that Cone. Twp. Refused to co-op with JCS because it would have moved them to AA. JCS co-ops' with Shade because they are too small to offer any sport but basketball and no other school would co-op with them. They were able to field a soccer team in the past on their own. They won a District 5 title in 2009 when they graduated 32 kids. Now they are lucky to graduate 15 to 20. I would never accuse JCS of recruiting. Their not about sports. They are truely a christian school But, on that 2009 d5 title team they had boys on the team from 3 different counties, it helps!
