Outside of knowing both teams are 5-1 and the Golden Eagles lost a heartbreaker to Richland, can any LHAC insiders give their preview of this showdown? This is a rivalry that goes back many generations and will hopefully turn out to be a showcase of two revived football traditions on Friday night.

My weekly LHAC picks will be out Thursday, but Somerset is the better team in my honest opinion.

Having seen both teams play Richland, and seen video of both, I would assess Somerset as the better team overall. They matched up to Richland very well on both the line and skill positions. I don't buy into predictions in high school because there are too many variables, but I would be surprised if Somerset lost.
