Although both their seasons are over. Look at what they have coming back. Could very well be another Golden Eagle/Ranger matchup at Mansion next year.

I wouldn't bet the farm on Tyrone just yet, but I can Forest Hills.

Donoughe will be a 3 year starting QB, Shareef Blough will be even better as he proved to be a dynamic play maker, and Wieczorek will be back.

There is no doubt Forest Hills' downfall was the lack of a consistent running game. Donoughe will be able to sling it around and keep them in any game, but they need to get better in the run game.


I think Richland won't be going away so easily either. I think the Kutchman kid will do a nice job at QB, and Farina and Warshel will be good backs. Joy is back at TE and they have some linemen returning. I don't know if they can win a championship, but they won't fall too far down the ranks.

The skill positions look pretty good, but if ya look closer, that's when I'd get excited... It starts up front no matter what level you are at and the Eagles will return an overabundance of experience up front and in their front 7 on defense. Guys like Ricky Reader, pannebaker, Chronister , Duane Boone all had large # 's in sacks and TFL. And of the 5 , you had a junior, 3 sophs, and a freshman.... BTW, you'll always have someone saying that, until you see John in that ratty old white Tyrone polo shirt, don't put a lot of stock in it

My question about Richland next year, will younger Bailey stick with his "wide open" start to end philosophy ?
At one point it was 29-18 in the 4th.... He didn't punt on a 4&15, and he kept chucking passes... If Tyrone cashes in on the int they got, it's a 4/5 pt game and he's wiping egg off his face... If they don't have shaffer, solarzyck ,,flick and company and he sticks to that philosophy , they lose at least 3-5 games in the LHAC.

I also, heard that Guthoff said the only person he would step down as head coach for is John Franco. But on the other side of the coin, I heard that Steve Guthoff want's to take over head coach at the new St. Joseph's HS in Boalsburg next year. Since he lives in State College and is a Guidance Conselor at State College HS. It would be closer to his home. That's whats been cooking up in the rumor mill in Tyrone as of late...

Don't forget MU in next years mix of teams with a lot of returning talent. For FH, if it can keep a healthy line in front of Donoughe, they will be there with the others mentioned. We were forced to play a heckuva lot of frosh, sophs and jr's. The 2 big tackles Hoyer and Varner will be back, and soph to be Tanner Gavlak saw a LOT of time this year. WR Dallas McClintock will be able to keep defenses honest from loading the box against Donoughe. Pinkas at TB will maybe allow Blough to be a slot/ wr type. Johnstown transfer Zach Shearman will likely be backup Qb/ 2nd TE with Logan Madison. This years team had a little talent with a lot of heart. Next years team will be longer on talent and experience.

That means that Tyrone returns almost their entire offensive line as well, correct?

Yes I really think D6 is Tyrone next year. Also two year cycle is up. Everett goes back to "A", does Bedford and Ridge play with D6 in playoffs again?
