Favorite stuff on tv right now?

Post by Coach »

What is your can't miss tv and stuff you just enjoy watching?

My only can't miss show is probably Big Brother. I can't help it. I love the show.

Just started watching a couple episodes of Shark Tank. It seems pretty good. I like seeing the inventions and business ideas that people have come up with.

Any time there is nothing on I enjoy the home shows. House Hunters International is pretty cool but the couples never seem like your everyday people. Yard Crashers is good stuff too.

For history buffs has anyone else watched America, The Story of Us. It was made a few years ago but it was really well done and a good way to learn about some important American History. I still haven't seen Planet Earth and have got to check that out at some point.

Oh man, I have quite a few. Netflix on the computer with sound, sports muted on the tv has been my route for a few months now. Really allowed me to catch up on some shows. Kills my sleeping habits at times though.

Right now I think f/x and AMC have the best shows on TV.

As far as F/X goes, Sons of Anarchy is great, and that's coming up on its last season. Charlie Hunnan really made a name for himself as Jax Teller.

I'm also big on Justified. Boyd Crowder and Raylan Givens both awesome characters, great acting by Walter Goggins and Timothy Olyphant.

Also just came out and has been on for a few episodes has been Fargo with Billy Bob Thornton. I don't think that show is for everybody, but its quirky and strange.

I think "Louie" is great with Louis CK. Dry humor, not a show for everyone, but I think its hilarious.

I've never watched "The Americans" but it seems like a cool premise.

AMC killed it with Breaking Bad, unbelievable show. Mad Men is wrapping up soon. Totally different kind of show, still good acting IMO. The Walking Dead hasn't been good for a few seasons, I still hold out hope though. I haven't tried the new show yet about the American Spies during the Revolution, it's called Turn. Might have to see if it's any good.

As far as Netflix originals go, I've been recommended to watch House of Cards like 100 times. Haven't started yet. I did watch Orange is the New Black. Not bad, nothing great. Netflix did a 3rd season of Arrested Development, and that show it hilarious if nobody has ever watched it.

I read where HBO is putting their shows on Amazon Prime, which is their own version of Netflix. Boardwalk Empire, The Soprano's, The Wire are all supposedly good shows too. I watched True Detective, and didn't like it how other people did.

I swear I do more than watch Netflix and sports LOL, this post would definitely suggest otherwise. I prefer binge watching good TV shows than movies or reading books. It's my cup of tea I guess.

All of Dexter is now on Netflix. I wouldn't recommend it for everyone, but if you read what it's about, and are intrigued I bet you'll get into it real quickly. The first 3-4 seasons were excellent.

I mean the protagonist is a serial killer. The show can be dark, violent, and bloody, but it's very good if that wouldn't bother you.

My favorites go the walking dead, sons of guns, deadliest catch, person of interest, big bang theory, and turn.

Next week starts the new 24. That is one series I watched and have seen every episode. It always got too fake, but I still couldn't stop watching. I can't wait til this starts!

I was watching 24 on Netflix, then April first hits and Amazon Prime bought the rights to it. So I did the 30 day free trial there which just ran out, so I'm stuck in the middle of season six! I won't be able to watch the new one.
