Recruiting Update

I was sitting at the BM-JST doubleheader this week and heard a lot of rumblings about a crusher starter returning to the hilltop next year. Also heard WESTY is trying to nix the co-op with the crushers in wrestling to prevent a couple young grapplers from jumping ship to Osborne St. For football. Didn't catch the names, anyone else have the details? I'm sure these are all for academic reasons of course!

The BM tuition this upcoming year is $5,800. And how about those taxes in Westmont. It's hard to believe more players aren't leaving.

Tuition isn't a problem. There are "academic" scholarships available. LOL.

Yeah, I heard Westmont may get a good sophomore to be transfer from McCort, and an 8th grader from Westmont may enroll at McCort for High School.

I guess these are the players to be named later from the McCort to Johnstown trade last year.


I don't know any of the names to be honest, I just heard a few rumors. Through past experiences, I've heard of many a Johnstown kid threaten to leave for McCort to get attention, could be something similar.

Building for the football future? An 8th grader leaving Westmont for McCort, and a bunch of Lift Scholarship kids heading to Osborne Street for free this August? What else is new?
