In most cases, league athletic directors are nice about moving games to accomodate long football schedules, but when you have a four team tournament, you probably don't get the same benefit. I doubt the UPJ Tournament is moving the whole event, but I could be wrong.

If so, Somerset is going up against Conemaugh Township Friday night at UPJ. If I'm Township, I'm running and gunning. Somerset kids are probably tired from football, and are in nowhere near basketball shape. I'm interested to see how that one plays out.

Does anyone know who the other two teams are?

Don't players have to practice for a certain amount of days before they can play in a game?

I've never heard of that. But if that's the case, all the more reason to cut the football season for a week or two.

There is no such rule in PIAA. I see Township pressing the whole game as they are very well coached. Should be a good one but Somerset athletes will be to much in my opinion

Johnstown plays Bishop Carroll tomorrow night. Chance it could be a good game. Johnstown's supposed to be better, Carroll lost 3 starters.

The 2-0 Ranger boys will come back to earth tonight against Bedford. I was surprised with their start, against questionable opponents, and missing their best all around player, but somehow got it done to win their home tournament. They are going to have to be more patient and disciplined, control the sometimes erratic play, if their success is to continue. The LHAC is full of tough teams this year.

Bedford is probably the most beatable team in the LHAC for Forest Hills. Great opportunity to start 3-0.

Crimson, I hope you're right! I am as critical of my home team as I am of others, maybe more so, since I see them more. I am a sarcastic analyst, for sure. This irks some, but I call 'em as I see 'em.
