Lady Dragons got a nice early season win over Claysburg tonight 46-40.

The Central boys get their season underway this week and open up with 2 tough ones...home vs Saltsburg on Wednesday then a trip to Penns Valley on Friday.

Altoona boys beat Johnstown 54-37
Richland boys beat Marion Center 71-38

Seems like a strange game in Altoona... JHS leads after one, but then scores ONE point in the second quarter. Trojans cut the lead to three after three, but then only score four in the fourth! Put four of those odd numbered quarters together and they'd have been alright!

I see Haley Thomas from McCort posted a triple-double last night in the win over BG.  22 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists.  

Is she receiving D1 interest? I recall last year she put up pretty big numbers as a sophomore.

An interesting game in The Hive tonight as Ferndale takes on rival Conemaugh Valley. Always a good game when these two get together
