IDK.  I've only been to the "Pit" a couple times in the past couple decades.

It never has been referred to that. There's no real nickname or actual name for it.

Purely a personal point of view.  Maybe a better name would be Purgatory? LOL

I'm a little biased, but I think McCort is a pretty cool gym for a small high school. Has a lot of character and it's well maintained. It's not the best gym in the LHAC but it's better than a number of them.

My comments didn't refer to the physical condition of the gym, it's a decent facility. You mentioned character, and that and the home crowd there is more what I was alluding to. Should be a good one, whenever it's played.
