Too early?
Too early?
So, the Groundhog did Not see his shadow,...the Super Bowl is over,....MLB teams start reporting for training camp in a couple weeks....I'm kinda starved for Baseball, the Greatest Game ever invented. No clock ticking, its never over til that last out is made. Is it too early to start talking Baseball? Anybody got some interesting news to report, at any level,...MLB, College, AAABA, Legion,...heck I'd even consume some T-Ball news, haha!

223113, I got the humor in your last sentence! LOL. Much as I'd like to break out my lawn chair right now and sit watching players take BP, You and I both know it's likely in the 30's way into April! Never fails!
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: Too early?
True story. I just watched this week's forecast.... One of my sons and I did drag out the gloves and play catch on Sunday though. Oh well, the gloves are back in the closet. I'll continue being patient. Still have basketball and wrestling to follow, that'll help pass the time.Manfred wrote:223113, I got the humor in your last sentence! LOL. Re: Too early?
Its always too early for baseball. The season is too long and most of the country gets dried out of it by september..... its why a video game, league of legends, pulls more views during their world championship the mlb world series and they take place at the same time
Re: Too early?
It can't be too early. UPJ is already 0-2. BTW Asians play baseball too! LOL

I'm curious, I replied to this quote less than an hr. ago, and found it missing. To repeat, Who did UPJ lose to, and where? And do they still go to Fla. for spring exhibitions? I saw them a few years ago at Ft. Pierce, for 5 days of baseball doubleheaders and golf. It didn't get any better than that!say_oww wrote:It can't be too early. UPJ is already 0-2. Re: Too early?
Can't wait for opening day, individual tickets go on sale in a week for the Pirates.
Really looking forward to when the Angels come to town, I need to see Mike Trout live.

Re: Too early?
Should be a tough ticket. They are opening on a Sunday. I can't remember the last time they opened on a weekend. I'm not a big fan I like the skipping school/work to go to opening day.
