Carnell Andrews of Bishop McCort commits to Bucknell for wrestling.  Eric Knopsnyder of the Trib had it first.

Congrats.  


Eric has been preaching that the class of 2018 is one of the best this area has ever seen, it seems quite a bit of these guys will wrestle in college.

Good for the kid, but shouldn't their wrestling program be stacked? The coach should keep his mouth shut since most of them came from other schools, and only went to BM for wrestling.

They actually all went to McCort before they even had wrestling. I think the wrestling program at McCort started a year or two earlier than they expected. 


I also don't know how long the program will last after this senior class. I don't think it really caught on beyond their 5 main wrestlers.

Who are the 5 main wrestlers?  I heard they got a couple more for this season.  Richland kid and Portage kid.

Truthfully I don't know much about wrestling.  I think the 4-5 kids that placed in states last year.  Andrews, Walters, Jones are the ones I'm familiar with.

Not looking to start any arguments or anything, but I'm fairly certain the boy from Bedford never went to McCort before they had a wrestling program. Don't know if he is still attending there or not.

But at any rate congrats to the Andrews boy for his accomplishment. At the end of the day he worked hard to get that offer.

When the coach runs his mouth it makes him look bad, the school look bad, and the community look bad.
